Outlook not Authenticating Your Account Error Code : 0x800CCC0E in Outlook

Receiving the error message 0x800CCC0E when configuring an email account in Outlook and trying to send an e-mail. The reason why you get this error is because Outlook is not authenticating your account on the server while sending/receiving, so the outgoing mail server rejects the message and the Hosting Server may have banned your IP.

How to fix Outlook Error Code : 0x800CC0E

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to: Accounts -> Properties -> Servers.

  2. Mark the option "My server requires authentication".

  3. Mark the option "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

  4. Finally press the Apply/Next depending on which version of outlook you are using button and you're done configuring the e-mail account in Outlook. Now try to send an e-mail

Still getting error 0x800CC0E ? Might be your IP address has been blocked on the server.
